JS Custom Alto LA Model

JS Custom LA model alto saxophone mouthpiece is JS Custom's signature model. It was designed initially based upon an old Babbitt mouthpiece which blew my mind. My ultimate search was over upon finding the optimum baffle and chamber design. This mouthpiece is very responsive and plays like no other. The chamber design was inspired by a great vintage mouthpiece but its progressive baffle design provides more projection and volume which can cut through in any loud band settings such as big band and guitar band. This mouthpiece pretty much can do everything you need. LA stands for Lead Alto!

JS Custom CA model alto saxophone mouthpiece was inspired by a great playing vintage Meyer bros mouthpiece. It's not too bright or dark which makes this mouthpiece a great all-around mouthpiece. This will not break the bank while providing the all the characteristics you would expect from a good vintage mouthpiece without a hefty price tag. CA stands for Cannonball Adderley and Cannonball is JS Custom Saxophone's one of the favorite alto players.

JS Custom NYC Model

JS Custom NYC model saxophone mouthpiece is our entry-level jazz mouthpiece. We get lots of refacing requests for stock Meyers alto and Otto Link tenor mouthpieces. Old vintage mouthpieces are still played by many pro saxophone players worldwide. Unfortunately, the current production can't replicate the fame of the older vintage mouthpieces. Often, the finish of the product needs attention.

Here is our answer- A mouthpiece that plays just like the good ol' vintage mouthpieces. It will play evenly throughout the entire range. It's well-balanced with a touch of warmth. It's a free-blowing mouthpiece with a resonant sound. We guarantee that it will play better than your stock Meyer or Otto Link mouthpiece.

It comes with the JS Basic Ring-type ligature and a rubber cap.
